Sheila Balasa
Speech-Language Pathologist
Sheila Balasa is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist with a master's degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She has worked at A. Harry Moore for more than 20 years.
Sheila has a lifelong passion for working with children with disabilities, especially helping them build the communication skills they need to thrive socially and academically. She believes a strong, genuine relationship with each student is the key to helping them feel comfortable, supported and successful, and she strives to make every session meaningful, positive and joyful while encouraging students to reach their full potential.
When she is not helping students communicate, Sheila loves to travel the world and experience new cultures, read, spend time at the gym, and search out a new café.
