Erika Bermudez has worked in education for nearly a decade, beginning her career as a substitute teacher with Jersey City Public Schools. She currently serves as a Demonstration Teacher in the L.I.F.T. program at A. Harry Moore, where she teaches Functional ELA and Family & Consumer Science.
Ms. Bermudez is passionate about working with students with disabilities and helping them develop the academic, functional and life skills that increase independence and prepare them for the real world. She takes pride in creating meaningful, engaging learning experiences that recognize each student's strengths, abilities and potential, and she believes every student deserves opportunities to learn, grow, build confidence and experience success in the classroom and beyond.
