Dana Orbe Gonzalez is a Special Education Demonstration Teacher in the L.I.F.T. program at Grossnickle Hall. She holds a master's degree in Education with a specialization in Special Education, along with certifications in Elementary Education and Educational Supervision.
With more than 22 years in education, Dana has taught students from preschool through 12th grade in a variety of settings across several states, and she has been a proud member of the A. Harry Moore community since 2014. She has supported students at every stage of their educational journey, from preschool and elementary classrooms to helping young adults build the skills they need for greater independence.
As the Culinary Arts teacher, Mrs. Orbe Gonzalez focuses on functional academics, vocational and transition skills, independent living, and meaningful hands-on learning that prepares students for life beyond the classroom.
