Transition Opportunities Program
The Transition Opportunities Program (TOP) is a pre-vocational training class that helps students prepare for their eventual transition from school to work or other adult activity program. Emphasis is placed on students’ abilities to develop their awareness for job safety, good work habits, and improved work skills. Students learn about work by participating in hands-on activities. Some work tasks involve the school service projects of recycling and supply delivery. Other activities often include matching, sorting or assembling.
